In case ya'll are wondering why I'm not writing anything on this here humble blog (and merely posting other people's pictures), it's because today I wrote a whole long thing on this here humble blog, and now I'm all blogged out!

One time my parents were touring this here structure (the same and only Peter-Paul fortress), and my father lay on a bed in a cell to rest and got locked in.

Just like a guy said...

What happened next? Was he kept there until the next viewing?

Well, I think the story goes that he shut the door behind him and it locked automatically. The problem was that the tour guide didn't have the key, who actually had the key and whether there was a key since the times of Revolution was not clear for a little time. Apparently, my father found this all rather amusing. My mother slightly less so (she was offered a chair to wait, while he had the bed).

I actually remember visiting the fortress. They were fixing the bell. But I remember climbing up high to take a look at it. And I remember going through the corridors and seeing the cells. Of course, I didn't know at the time anything about Alter Rebbe, so I couldn't appreciate the real importance of the place (the same happened when I visited his ohel).

That's a pretty funny story. Did your parents hold hands between the bars?

Ahh, the regrets of youth.

I was not there at the time. Actually, I was not anywhere in this lowly world at the time.

At least I knew when I visited the Ohel on this side of Atlantic.

Though you could inquire.

This is good.

What was the point of that Hightsdeals.com post? Is that rambling going to generate any sales? Will it even raise their google ranking?

Just like a guy said...

The point is that they're paying me to blog, so I blogged.

Hopefully.

Probably.

e said...

the question is why are they paying for it?

Just like a guy said...

For the very simple reason that it's blogging (and marketing) excellence.

will it sell phones? (pun intended) How so?

Just like a guy said...

What's the pun?

The hope is that eventually it'll get some sort of following which will drive traffic to the site.

1. think about it a bit. It's very punny.

2. I should never become an entrepreneur. I'm way too pessimistic. Who's gonna read that stuff?

Just like a guy said...

1. Ha. Ha.

2. At the very least, I enjoy writing it.

Hmm, e, maybe your cousin can give TRS's boss some tips.

Anarchist Chossid said...

TRS, just post this.

Just like a guy said...

CA: 1. e's cousin?

2. Cute, but how many times can you post the same thing?

Anarchist Chossid said...

1. From this here town. Another e.
2. Have you posted it before?

Run by a guy with the same name as me.

Actually, he wound't want to give you advice. You're internet based. He isn't. You're retail. He's wholesale.

Just like a guy said...

CA: If I posted it once then that would be it.

You are correct that he would have little advice to give regarding marketing via blogging, seeing as he doesn't even have a particularly functional website.
