He heard a voice coming from behind him, and immediately swung around to see who it could be. Standing in back of him was a giant tortoise, but of course he didn't see this because it was standing in back of him. He turned around again when it made a noise, but it was still in back of him. This was all rather disconcerting, and he made a sudden movement-
and then silence.

not only was the tortoise in back of him, he was on the back of the tortoise. and the tortoise was swimming through space....
and then silence.
so what does that signify to you? to me it means death, boring or not. who says death is exciting?
